Clinical Naturopathy

What is Clinical Naturopathy? Clinical Naturopathy uses principles, treatment protocols and interventions that are at the forefront of Naturopathic practice in the 21st century.

We critically evaluate our clients allowing us to employ evidence-based treatment options and prescriptions based on the most current up-to date information available today.

Here at LYFE we combine insightful in-house & functional testing with evidence based holistic medicine techniques to uncover and treat the sources of imbalance and dis-ease. By providing support to under resourced systems, while also removing any burden from over whelmed and stressed systems, the bodies innate (existing naturaly) ability to maintain balance (Homeostasis) is allowed to flourish, allowing a return back to health.

A lot of evolution has taken place in the area of Naturopathic practise. Research into practises and therapies used by naturopaths has grown expenetially with many more studies emphasising the immense value of the application of ‘whole body’ naturopathic approaches to healing. As a result there is ever increasing validation and recognition for Naturopaths as research leaders, with success in securing highly competitive and conventional funding schemes such as the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) in Australia, as well as the National Institutes of Health in the USA.

The WHO (Would Health Organisation) recognises Naturopathy as one of the major traditional systems of medicine.

The 6 fundamental principles of Naturopathic medicine are:

1- The Healing Power of Nature – Trust in the body’s inherent wisdom to heal itself.
2- Identify and Treat the Causes – Look beyond the symptoms to the underlying cause.
3- First Do No Harm – Utilise the most natural, least invasive and least toxic therapies.
4- Doctor as Teacher – Educate patients in the steps to achieving and maintaining health.
5- Treat the Whole Person – View the body as an integrated whole in all its physical and spiritual dimensions.
6- Prevention – Focus on overall health, wellness and disease prevention.
